The kitchen is the most electrically demanding room in the home — ovens, hobs, dishwashers, washing machines and fridges all require dedicated circuits. Whether you're fitting a new kitchen, replacing appliances or adding extra sockets, ESI Electrical handles all kitchen electrical installations across Blackpool and Lancashire.
High-power kitchen appliances must have their own dedicated circuits — they cannot share a ring main with other sockets. We install dedicated circuits for electric ovens (typically 6mm² on a 32A or 40A MCB), induction hobs, range cookers and other high-power appliances. All circuits are correctly sized, protected and certified.
Fitting a new kitchen? We work alongside your kitchen fitter to install all the electrical requirements — socket outlets, appliance connections, under-cabinet lighting, extractor fan wiring and cooker circuits. We coordinate with your kitchen fitter to ensure the electrical work is completed at the right stage of the installation.
Modern kitchens need plenty of sockets — for appliances, phone charging, small appliances and more. We add sockets to your kitchen ring main or install additional circuits where needed. We can also install USB sockets, pop-up sockets in worktops and under-cabinet sockets for a clean, clutter-free look.
Yes — electric ovens must have a dedicated circuit from the consumer unit, not connected to the ring main. The circuit must be correctly sized for the oven's power rating, typically 6mm² cable on a 32A or 40A MCB.

“Ethan has done a great job. He's fitted a new light and extractor fan in a new wet room. Quick work and no mess. We would highly recommend him for any electrical work. 5*”
